SUBSCRIBE

The Subscribe module of My Email Lists has 2 functions

My Email Lists messages are personalized with the subscriber's first name.

With My Email Lists, your subscribers will not be bothered by the advertisements that most of the free email products include in your outgoing messages.

The "From:" line of My Email Lists outgoing messages shows your company's domain name rather than the domain name of another company, like @yahoo.com or @hotmail.com for example. This means more customized, professional communications from your company or organization to its staff, clients and prospects.SUBSCRIBE

  1. The Subscribe box can be inserted into your web site to allow anyone surfing your site to sign up for your company newsletter, free tips, email updates, or any other type of free public information you offer. Only the lists that you have marked “Public” will appear in this “Subscribe” box.

  2. To sign up people yourself, as the Adminsitrator of your lists, you can log on to a password protected area and add people to both “Public” and “Private” lists you have created. For example, you meet someone at a reception who hands you his business card. You want to add them to your company newsletter list. You go to your own web site and use the Subscribe box above, just as the person himself would do, but you’re doing it for him.

  3. Another person you’ve met at the reception you want to put on your list called “Potential Clients,” which is a private list. You logon to your password protected Administrator area and add this person using your Control Panel.

UNSUBSCRIBE

When anyone on your public lists wants to unsubscribe from your mailings, he simply clicks on a link at the bottom of your outgoing email message which takes him to the Subscribe page of your web site. There, he uses the commands in the blue box (above) to remove himself from your list.

When anyone on your private lists want to unsubscribe from your mailings, they will send an email to your list Administrator, requesting that they be removed from the list.
But since it is a private list, the Administrator is the only person who can add or remove names from the list.
